Clark Memorial Library is the public library for the town of Bethany, CT. Founded in 1937, the library is governed by the Bethany Library Association, click here for more information. Members of the Association are Bethany residents and volunteers. Monthly board meetings of the BLA are held on the fourth Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. and are open to the public. However, there is no meeting in the month of August.
Professional staff provide library services to patrons.
The Clark Memorial Library engages patrons in the love of learning and reading by connecting users to all available resources to grow a vibrant community of thinkers.

The library is on CT 63/Amity Road.
Directions from New Haven or Woodbridge via CT 63:
Follow Whalley Avenue through New Haven.
It will become Amity Road/CT 63 in Woodbridge.
Follow CT 63 for approximately 7 miles.
Library will be on the right hand side.
Directions from New Haven or Woodbridge via CT 69:
Follow Whalley Avenue through New Haven, making a slight right at RT 69.
Follow RT 69 for three miles.
Turn left onto Dillon Road.
Follow Dillon Road for 1.2 miles.
Then turn right on RT 63. Library will be on the right hand side.
Directions from Hamden via RT 15:
Take Exit 59 [CT 69] and go toward CT 63 New Haven/Woodbridge.
Turn left onto CT 69 and follow above for CT 69.
Directions from Waterbury:
Take CT- 8S to exit 27 [Maple St.].
Merge onto S Main Street.
Taking a slight left, continue on S Main Street to CT 63 S/New Haven Rd.
Follow CT 63 for about 5 miles.
Library will be on the left hand side.
Directions from Middletown:
Take CT – 66 W/Meriden Road to I- 691 W.
Take exit 1 on left for I-84 W for Waterbury/Danbury.
Merge onto I-84.
Take exit 25 A for Austin Road.
Turn left onto Austin Road. This becomes Scott Road.
Follow Scott Road for 1.6 miles.
Make slight left onto CT 69/Prospect Rd/Waterbury Rd.
Follow CT 69.
It will become CT 69/New Haven Road and then CT 69/Carrington Road.
Turn right at CT 42 W/Cheshire Rd.
In 1.2 miles turn right onto CT 42 W/CT 63/Amity Road.
Follow CT 63 for two miles.
Library will be on left hand side.
